Mavic Air 2

I recently purchased a Mavic Air 2 with the understanding any drone purchased on your sight was compatible with Maps Made Easy.  I am looking to use this drone for stockpile volumes but can not connect to MME.  Any help on setting this up would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Jeff O'Brien

No, not every aircraft we sell on our site is compatible. I am not sure why that would be a safe assumption... We sell Autel aircraft and they are not supported. We have never supported the Mini or Spark aircraft.

If you click on the Map Pilot link on the site and click on supported hardware it would show you this list:

https://support.dronesmadeeasy.com/hc/en-us/articles/205704366-Supported-Hardware

Also, the App Store shows the same list at the time of app download.

Here are some links to the various discussions here on the forum about the addition of support for the Mavic Air 2:

We can only support what DJI allows us to support via the DJI Software Development Kit.

We have a beta available for the Mavic Air 2 that uses beta test software. That is not something we are going to release with publicly though. This is all discussed in the links above.

The Mavic Air 2 has been a weird case for adding support. We are not sure why it is taking DJI so long.

Update, please. Is the Mavic Air 2 still a mystery? I'd love to leave DroneLink and get my entire workflow back in one place. Thanks.

We have added Virtual Stick support for the Mavic Air 2 since it does not support waypoint flight. It is currently in beta but we are hoping to release it soon. Any currently supported aircraft can actually use our Virtual Stick support.

We plan on supporting the Air 2S, Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced and Mavic 3 when DJI updates the SDK. We hear this might happen at the end of March. Allegedly...

You can download the beta version here:

Otherwise keep an eye out for the public release of 5.4.0.
