New to Maps Made Easy

Hello,

I have a Phantom 4 Pro Version 1.0 and I just signed up for the Pro subscription. So far I like the pay as you go service. I'm a bit confused about which data collection software I should be using. I see three apps but I'm not finding a good app capability comparison. I've only use Map Pilot Pro so far. Thanks in advance for any information you can provide? Also, do you have a phone number or help line? Sometimes it would be helpful to just have a short conversation.

Map Pilot Pro is the one you should be using for collecting map data.

This support site has videos for most common tasks in Map Pilot Pro. Just ask if you need some more direction.

We do all of our support via email and this forum. If we offered phone support the subscription prices would need to be 5X what they are.

Thanks for the quick reply. I definitely like the service. If the cost is low, so I'm happy to use the online forum. That being said, will the pro version include a picture inset so that the operator can monitor the collection process? Does the Map Pilot Pro App set drone parameters for jpeg vs raw or do I need to configure that in the DJI Go app? Which image type is preferred? Thanks in advance.

Having the camera preview is not a feature that depends on the level of subscription you have. It is always there as long as the drone is connected.

You can select RAW imaging in the Settings. We don't recommend or process RAW images though. Some people love them. We don't.
