Terrain Awareness with MME map?

Yes, you can. The list for Terrain Awareness data sources will show SRTM, which is the default for world wide coverage, and anything within 2 km of the purple takeoff location dot (or red aircraft location triangle). All flight waypoints must be within the bounds of the colorized elevation map.
