KMZ file altitudes

I did a 3D of one of my flights and when I put it in Google Earth, it's about 172m too high above the terrain. It's set for clamped to earth and the altitude in the KMZ interface says 0m. How can I get it to actually clamp to ground? Can i get into the KMZ (I know how) and change it to actually clamp to ground? Do i have to resubmit the processing on it to get it down' where it's supposed to be?

I didn't do a NADIR on the launch point, so did that cause this? can I get one, add it to my file list and resubmit it to get it to work w/o reflying the whole job?

It if is that far off it is likely that you did not include a ground reference image with your uploaded files. This would have made a more accurate elevation instead of using the GPS values.

The ground reference image does not need to be nadir but it does need to be taken to make this adjustment.

You can just take one instead of reflying the whole mission but all the images will need to be uploaded and processed again for it to be included.

Is the ground reference image, the first photo the drone takes before every mission of the take-off point which is a blurred image?

I had done that. Got a ground ref image, resubmitted it, and it did not clamp it to the ground.

It won't clamp it exactly to the ground surface in Google Earth. You may still have to adjust the surface altitude as noted in the link above.
