It can take quite a while to load the KMZ into Google Earth. Your model takes my very high end computer close to a minute to open... When it does, you often have to adjust the altitude of the model by right clicking on the file title in the Places window and select Get Info and then adjust the altitude slider.

This solution is not working for me. The "Get Info" tab does not appear. What else can be done to resolve please?

As noted previously, it can take a while to load. Then you can slide this slider until your model shows. It should be less than a 100m adjustment due to inaccurate GPS elevation data in the source tags.

I have the same issue, DJI Phantom takes a ground image which is uploaded and processed then in Google Earth the KMZ appears way above the GE imagery. When clicking on properties for the image and going to "Altitude" tab with Absolute selected the slider going from 0 to 100 only moves the drone image further away from GE ground image. Any ideas??

You could try changing it to relative and making it a negative number.

I can get it close when setting relative to ground using negative actual mean sea level but still not perfect. Is there something wrong with the drone GPS setting? It shouldn't be this hard, should it?
