I have a previously mapped area of a mine site that I would like to create a new DEM/terrain file for flight planning to fly the site again. The mine site has significant changes from the STRM terrain. Is it possible to use my data to do this? If so how?
You can fly over a site way up to create a DEM overview of the area and then use that data as the Terrain Awareness data source. All of the boundary markers for the survey area, take off location and waypoints must be within the colorized area for it to plot.

I already have a digital surface model produced from another software in a TIF (geotiff) format. Can I use this? Or can I reprocess my original flight from last year in maps made easy? What selections do I make? Cheers.
