No cell or WiFi using Terrain Aware

I am brand new to Map Pilot, although I have been flying DJI products for 3 years. With my P4Pro, and iPad Mini 4 with the latest iOS, and Map Pilot 2.6.2, I have not been able to fly in an area without cell or WiFi. Most of my work is in remote areas mapping landslides etc., so it is important that I am able to pre-flight a mission, download the maps, download the terrain data, and then upload it all to the drone and fly when I get on-site. I have read many posts about this and thought I found the solution to be setting the iPad to Airplane Mode, but when I did this and tried to upload the mission the P4P, I was presented with an error indicating the Terrain Aware token was invalid. I presume an internet connection is necessary to validate the token. I purchased the Map Pilot Business Version, so I am not trying to do an In-App purchase. Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks,

Jeff

We did find an issue and are working to fix it. We added some extra checks for validating the access token but apparently didn't test it for offline operation very well...

Thanks for bringing it to our attention. We hope to have a fix out in the next couple days.

Hello! Any news on the fix for this issue?

Im having the same problem and am kind of stuck at the work site for 2 days without being able to fly with terrain aware.

Please advice what can we do to fix this?

I just updated my version to 2.6.3 this morning and gave offline terrain awareness another go... I am still getting the "wrong token" warning unless I am in service or within wifi signal.

I am starting to panic a little bit, I sort of rely on this feature for 90% of the work I do.

I have tried two separate mobile devices with the same token issue occuring on each one.  Should I start digging into firmware issues on the UAV? Maybe a rollback for the firmware will do the trick?

This is not a firmware issue. We tested this functionality quite a bit and are not seeing what you are describing. Make sure that the version number has been updated and that it was successfully downloaded.

Are you only getting when trying to take off or is it all the time?

Try switching to Airplane mode so the internet connection is fully off. A bad connection is worse that no connection.

Oh buggar, just checked the version number and it says 2.6.2 :(

Not sure why it did not update smoothly, Sorry for the erroneous post, I will get this sorted and tested properly tomorrow.
