I am using the DJI Smart Controller to fly the Mavic Air 2. I have used Map Pilot Pro on the iPad to create the start point and mission. The App does not see the drone to connect. What do I need to do in order to connect the App to the drone and upload the flight mission?

Some people have gotten the smart controller to work but others haven't. It is a VERY old version of the Android OS.
Thank you for the quick reply. I downloaded the APK and tried to install it on the controller. I received a could not parse error. I will look into it more tomorrow. I am also going to get a controller that works with an iPad to see if that just solves the issue. I will circle back with any news.
I was unable to get the smart controller to work but the ipad and normal controller do work. The only issue I have now is not being able to change out batteries and resume a mapping mission. One battery missions work great though.
This is a known issue we are trying to address. We will have a fixed version out this week.

Your hot fix worked great. I rebooted the controller after the battery change and all went as planned. Thank you
