When I pre-plan a mission and recall it, it always reloads zoomed out, and goes gray when I try to zoom in for more detail. It's always just zoomed out enough that I can't really verify whether I'm clearing trees or going over someone's property, etc. This happens even if I plan a mission, and reload it while still on wifi. Any thoughts? In your videos you seem able to recall the mission and zoom in.

I have this same problem when loading a saved mission. Using an Ipad Mini 4 . I've seen it in the past on a Mini 2. No answers from developers.
Thanks Tudor. I didn't realize the Apple Maps couldn't be saved, though I assumed there was some kind of disconnect between the basemap during planning/on wifi and in the field. We got a sim card for the ipad to overcome the problem.

Has anyone else seen this issue of loading a cached map on an a wifi only iPad and had the location of the drone show up over 2000meters away? I tried this with multiple drones (3 different phantom 4 pros) and 2 different iPads. I only had this error when loading the saved mission, it worked fine if I started a new mission. I used to see this kind of issue when working with say grid to surface survey data but first time with Map Pilot. Any ideas? I can elaborate if needed. Thanks
Tudor
Jaxson: Interesting issue. We will look into it. It might be that the basemap imagery is off there?!?
Please email mapping@dronesmadeeasy.com with the coordinates of where this happened and your Flights.plist file if possible.

I like this app until it crashes half way through mapping a mission. I can't manually set a point for it to return to. I don't want it at the return to home location. It's taken images but now I need to go back and manually add a point to finish the mission. Not a very happy camper this morning. I've flown the mission 5 times with the app crashing and not being able to finish properly.

I was surprised I couldn't 'edit' the cached map once on site. Such as to create a new one didnt bring in the cached map. For instance the wind direction is different to plan, need to fly higher/lower, wider to capture a GCP...
Am I missing something???
I'm not getting any audio...
There is no audio on this video.

Mick and MikeF: Please refer to the following discussion about the zooming and availability of cached map tiles/
