Background maps

The background maps in the map pilot are very old. Is there a way of getting more up to date images?

Map Pilot uses the internal Apple Maps map as a basemap.

If you would like to use something else you can use Mapbox to upload your own data from 3rd party sources and use it in Map Pilot.
