Aircraft Stopping in Mid Air After Takeoff

Flew a mission today. Aircraft would lift off, but never go anywhere. I turned off the controller and aircraft numerous times. Kept having the same problem. All apps were closed. It finally just randomly started working. On the third the battery, same issue again. Restarted controller and aircraft multiple times and it finally started working. I am running iOS 14.6. Seems to be an issue that keeps happening

Have you looked at your log files to see what is causing the issue? It is likely the obstacle avoidance system which you can either clean or turn off in the DJI app.

Email or AirDrop the .CSV log files for the affected flights to your computer and look at the DJI Diagnostic column for clues. 

If you are using Map Pilot Pro you can look in the Aircraft Errors panel for clues as well.

I just checked the flight records on Map Pilot. It appears there is no programmed altitude on those flights where the aircraft just lifted off and did not fly. I see encoder errors. MC connection and gimbal errors. Those two appear to be at the end of each battery

Do you mean you checked them on Maps Made Easy? That won't show all of the errors. 

The log file for your 3rd flight shows that there were Vision System errors which means it was the Obstacle Avoidance system. 

" VisionSys: Dangerous / VisionSys: Dangerous"

Sorry, I guess I should have also mentioned to look in the App Warning column.

Ahh.  I know exactly what caused that error.  Thank you.  For future reference, how did you pull these logs up?  This way I can hopefully figure this out next time without bothering you :)

No problem. The CSV log files are in your File Manager screen. You can email them or AirDrop them off the device to be viewed in Excel or some other spreadsheet viewer.
