I am trying to take a screen shot of a finished map to put into a report but the Zoom increments are too large to get the image to fill the screen without bleeding outside the edge. Is there a way of zoom in/out in smaller increments or rotate the map please?

That isn't something that can be changed. You should be dealing with the JPG our GeoTiff outputs anyway.
Just have it undersized and crop your screenshot as needed. Taking screenshots of Google Maps is against the TOS anyway.
Of course, completely forgot about output options durrr! You can delete this thread if you want. Thank you.
