You are still free to use the version of the app that you have already downloaded. As noted on our site and the App Store since the beginning of the year, all of the previous versions of Map Pilot have been end-of-lifed in favor of using the newest variant called Map Pilot Pro. The older versions of the app are no longer available in the App Store.
Your already downloaded app will continue to work but we can't guarantee all of features will continue to function properly though. We have not been given a firm date for the shutdown of some of the 3rd party services that were used. Anything related to the elevation/tile services, flight syncing, mission syncing, and automated mission naming will cease to function. "By the end of the year" is what we have been told. As long as you are not using any of the syncing features, basemaps or Terrain Awareness it should continue to operate until the end of the year.
