If I'm having linear inspection (ie. pipeline) and I'm crusing my drone over it at constant height what would be recomended gimbal pitch to achieve the best result in 3D model?
Normally (orthofotomap only) I would go for -90 degrees as it probably would have less distortion problems but if I want to have good quality 3D model would this pitch be good? Or should I switch to sth. like -40 degrees?
Why wound't you use nadir? Tipping the gimbal up doesn't get you anything other than distortions. There is basically not time that tipping the gimbal up is better unless you are trying to capture the sides of structures or something that nadir doesn't do super well.

OK, I decided to use nadir.
I just thought that for having good exploring of terrain 3D shape it would be better NOT to use nadir :)

So I went to the location, made my mission with nadir. And now I'm uploading my pics, selected "full 3D option" but read that this is "Not for nadir imagery. "
So nadir or not nadir for best results in 3D model?
Nadir is fine. Most people tip the gimbal up a few degrees but I don't really think it matters too much as long as you aren't doing structures. The warning is likely there to serve as a check for people who don't really mean to be processing as full 3D.

It's being processing for 24hrs, and ETA says I should wait for 9 more days. Is it possible? I only had 290 images. Expected it process for 24hrs not 12 days. Progress bar just hit 80% but I don't know if it means anything.
Maybe orthophotomap will be available sooner and 3D later?
