Lag of 20 seconds after opening MapPilot and starting new mission - after upgrade to verson 4.1.12

Hi

Since I upgraded the MapPilot app version to the latest version (verson 4.1.12), I've noticed that there seems to be a lag of over 20 seconds when i start the app and either create a new mission or load a saved mission. Has anyone else reported this? It was working fine without lag before, and is incredibly frustrating how this has suddenly appeared after an update?

A few other points I'd noticed:

  • The MapPilot app doesn't seem to report the battery level of the controller correctly (I am using a DJI Phantom 4 Pro with controller). It states 100% all the time, even though the controller is slowly losing power (indicated by the flashing power indicator lights on the battery).

Thanks Neil

We haven't heard any other reports of this despite thousands of flights being executed with 4.1.12 per day.

What iOS device are you using?

Do you have multiple drone apps running?

Turn off the Image Footprint feature. Turn on the Auto Hide Image Dots feature.

I'm using an iPad Mini 4

No, i don't have multiple drone apps running - just MapPilot.

I have Image footprint disabled already. For the latter, do you mean "Auto Clear Image Points" switched on?

Thanks

This happens when the drone is not connected - just when i open MapPilot to plan missions. I'm not sure if that is a factor?

Make sure you are well connected to the internet. Also, 4.1.13 is the latest version.

We aren't seeing this issue so it might help to do a screen recording of it to share with us.
