Using Photoshop to stitch large maps.

I realize this is not a Photoshop forum but am desperate to solve this problem. Am working an assemblying a map of a college which will be approx. 200 acres when finished. I am having trouble with the first 2 images and the work space. When I rotate one image to merge with the other the image goes outside the background (the checkered area) but I can't figure out how to reduce its size to keep it inside this area, or to extend the checkered area larger. If anyone has experienced with stitching large maps with Photoshop I'd love to chat offline.

There is a limit of 1200 images per job with the camera GPS workflow, but that should be enough to cover 200 acres even flying pretty low at 60 m and getting 70% overlap.

If your images have tags, which with a DJI aircraft they do, you should be using the camera GPS workflow instead of the stitch only anyway. It will help keep things aligned so you don't have to handle the rotation.

I know this doesn't solve your Photoshop problem, but is there a reason you didn't upload it all as one job? The whole reason we offer this service is because other software solutions don't work very well for this sort of thing.

Thanks Tudor! Should have consulted with you before wasting hours trying to get Photoshop to do this. I will pull back and regroup...

Thanks or all the help. I am trying to combine all the images taken so far but ran into a problem.
Windows will rename the files but adds ( ) to each file name.
MME won’t accept the special characters ( ) when attempting to upload the files. Any suggestions?
