DJI Mini2: remote mode switch must be toggled????

I have the DJI Mini 2 and I am using Map Pilot Pro to create maps.  I have found if I accidentally bump a joystick, the drone just stops and doesn't move until I it return to home.

I changed the battery and resumed the mapping, and it went to the same spot and just stopped.  Each time I get the pop up message:

Exiting Virtual Mission

Manual control has been detected. To fully exit virtual control, remote mode switch must be toggled.

I can't find any documentation on what the remote mode switch is or how I toggle it.  I am considering flying with out the joysticks screwed in, just to minimize the chance that I touch one of them.

What must I do to get the map restarted?

Help please!

Yes, anytime you hit the sticks during a Virtual Stick mission (the only option for Mini and Air aircraft) the programmed flight mode is exited. This is just how the DJI SDK works. It assumes you are making emergency takeover maneuvers.

All flights must be started from the ground so just hit that RTH button and reset.

I'm experiencing the same issue, where after swapping the battery and taking off to resume the mission at the last waypoint, the drone ends up rising to just under 100' and hovering in place indefinitely.  I've attempted to resolve this issue by returning to home, and taking off again, with the same hovering-in-place result.  The only solution is to restart the mission, but I run into the same problem when swapping batteries out 50% of the time.

I have been able to finish several missions successfully (including a battery swap), but haven't been able to put my finger on what I am doing wrong that is causing this issue.  Even if it is a Manual Control related, shouldn't this be resolved after returning to home, landing, and taking off again?  Or how else can I toggle between manual and virtual control?

Would love to figure it out so I can have more consistent missions, as we are attempting to track daily progress on construction builds!  Any help is greatly appreciated.

FYI - This is utilizing a DJI mini 2 w/ up to date firmware for both app and controller, along with an iphone 14.

Dan: Please send links to synced flight logs in the Maps Made Easy system so we can see which flights were affected with this issue.
