Map Pilot Pro Ipad App closes randomly

Hi Zane,

I've recently been having an issue where my Map Pilot Pro app on the iPad is randomly closing during a flight. This started happening about 2 weeks ago. It is also timing out and going to the lock screen if I don't touch it which it never used to do. Do you any idea what may be causing these issues?

Version 6.0.3 was released today which has some minor fixes but I don't think there was anything in there that would address what you are describing. Did you recently upgrade iOS by any chance? I am seeing you are currently using 18.6.2. 

We will look into the Lock Screen issue. That and the crashing may be related. 

Have you tried any other iOS devices? 

Do you have any guide lines or KMLs being displayed at the time?

Is this from a freshly designed or a saved mission?

This is the only IOS device I have. It could be a hardware issue. I may try to find another IOS device to test it with. This is a freshly designed mission using an imported KML as reference. I have done it numerous time this way without any issues. Once I test it with another device, I'll let you know if this resolves the issue. Thx.

Hello, I have the same problem.

It happened to me 2 times in a row a few days ago. When the drone was in the middle of the programmed flight the app suddenly closed. When I re-opened the app the drone location was spot on and the flight didn't stop at all BUT MY home point was wrong by 100 meters or so. Enclosed you will find screenshots showing you exactly. I'm running version 6.0.2 on 6th gen iPad iOS 17.7.10
