Greeting! Due to the proximity of a nearby class C airport, I was limited to a flight altitude of 200 ft AGL. My subject, an abandoned coal fired power plant with a 200 ft smoke stack. Therefore, I was only able to collect orbiting oblique imagery.....in total, 190 images (about 900MB total). No sense sending the collect to you.....I get it, you're "maps", but typically, when I send you jobs, I also check the box for SketchFab 3D model.....regardless of the file size.....I've received 3D model. (I also have a $120/yr account with them). Any who, since no NADIR in this collect.....skip MME....send to directly to SketchFab....MME's "partner". Sketchfab says "file too large".....and then I see, my account limits me to a mere 20MB file. That would be about 26 images. That might be fine for 3D models of table-top subjects, but we UAV fliers build models the size of construction jobsites. Even their $249/month plan wouldn't work, as that plan limits files to 500MB. Soooooo, how is it that checking that box for 3D model in the MME workflow.....on large data collects.....I'm netted a 3D model, but not otherwise? Have my previous (MME upload) 3D models been derived by using just a small portion of the images? And if I can't include a NADIR collect for MME process, how do I get large projects processed for 3D models? Sorry this is so long winded :-)
