This is one known issue with the current version if this is what you are talking about. It has already been fixed.
Hi, following on from my Twitter question - the offline map caching is not working, but its been indicated that there is a 'workaround' for the issue until the update, can you let me know what the workaround is please, thanks in advance

I recently purchased the Map Pilot app and the product is ideal for my type of application. I am sure that the question might have been addressed, but can you please give a "no frills" answer. When I test the application (just putting in a few perimeter points) for planning purposes, it shows exactly what I want. Now for my questions regarding offline maps.
How does the Map Pilot app work with Maps made Easy? Do I need an access token for every time I want an offline map? If I want to store, say 50 offline maps for future flights, can I store the basemaps for the sites and fly them a month later? Are the offline basemaps I download completely free?
The Mapbox Access Token and Map ID are saved in the Map Pilot settings one time to allow Map Pilot to download basemap tile images for offline access.
The intent for the caching feature is exactly as you described. Revisiting sites to run the exact same mission and planning while at the office are easily done by using this feature.
These saved basemaps are there until you delete them.
The basemaps are completely free to you when you have your own personal Mapbox account. We pay per map load which is why we limit the caching using our credentials to 10 maps.
