Clarification on Multiple Battery Missions

I flew several missions today, I really like the software, but I was having trouble understanding exactly what I was supposed to do on a multiple battery mission. I'm not sure if I was making mistakes, but once I powered down the drone, changed the battery, and turned back on, I could never get the App to reconnect to the drone - so I had to close the App and restart. This caused the mission progress to be lost (I guess?). I'd love to have the ability to plan a larger mission, but break it down to several missions each of which only uses one battery... I've also been a little confused about when/if I should be using the DJI Go app when I start, all the time, or not at all - as once I flip to it, the drones made easy App seems to not want to connect again - or shows the drone is disconnected... As I said, this could all be a "user" issue :). Appreciate any pointers or feedback...

First off, make sure you are not powering down the remote. When the aircraft lands and requires a new battery, be sure to turn it off normally, don't just rip the battery out. Put the new battery in and start it up normally. It should automatically reconnect.

Having the DJI Go app running at the same time could be the cause of the problem. Only one app can be connected at a time so having two that are grabbing at that connection isn't going to work well.

We recommend opening the DJI Go app so it can do all its version checks and everything and check for system errors that we don't have access to reading. After that, fully close the DJI Go app so it is interfering with the connection to Map Pilot.

We are working on saving progress.

Had a chance to fly again today. The missions flew exactly as expected once I closed out the DJI Go app after the initial startup, test, compass calibration... Battery swaps and continue missions went smooth every time. What a great tool!

Another suggestion that I had was to be able to reverse the flight after its saved and run it backward - at least that way if I reloaded a mission after a shutdown (or the occasional error that I seem to get making me shut down the app and lose progress), I could work backwards to where I know I stopped before. (and please fix the back button, my big fingers can't find that sweet spot unless I poke at it 20 times)... Otherwise, I can't say enough great things about the app and the Maps Made Easy service!! Just Fantastic!!
