Serious issues after recent update.

Encountered same behavior flying with iPhone/Air 2 and iPad/Air 2S in the past 10 days: 1) Moveable home point not following remote location 2) After battery change camera view is frozen 3) Launch to abandonment point the drone ascends to 98 ft. and hovers 4) This requires manual landing, creating new mission, shutting everything down and reinitializing to get what should be the next battery flight executed. I fly a three battery mission weekly and had this same issue happen on 6/8/23 with the iphone/air 2. The same issue was reproducable today using the iPad/Air 2S. I can rule out hardware issue since I used two separate devices/remotes/drones. IIRC there was an app update late May/early June before this issue arose. Not sure if these issues have been reported yet or if there is a recommended fix. If there is I would love to hear as MPP has been fairly reliable for the past 16 months.

We are sorry to hear you had issues.

1. It looks like it did in your log file. But the real question is: Does your iPad Air have a GPS chip in it or is WiFi only? WiFi only devices do not have GPS chips in them and rely on the WiFi hotspots for their location data which can lead to some crazy stuff happening.

2. You might need to slow the process down a bit to make sure it is fully disconnecting before restarting the aircraft. If you do it too quickly it will still think it is on the previous connection.

3. From the log files, it looks like you are touching the sticks. This will immediately cause the aircraft to stop and hover as noted in the warning at takeoff. This is because your aircraft is using Virtual Stick controls since it doesn't have waypoint support. The second you touch the sticks Map Pilot Pro is not flying it anymore.

4. Yep. Since you are not in a programmed flight anymore you need to come back down and start over. Just don't touch the sticks. At all.
