problems with MME ajust alignment

i have a series of new maps i made.  they are corridors - long and narrow, and prone to poor alignment during stitching.   they stitched ok, but were offset by tens of meters in northing and easting, and, inconsistent  (windy days also do this).

your instructions seem really straight forward, and i am familiar w registration in ArcGIS and QGIS.

i followed your steps.. .everything seems simple.    i did not have a .csv, but your first step allowed me to right-click (on the New map) and gather GCPs ... i opened up an Excel spreadsheet and built my 15 GCPs as i  scrollled around the map.

i then imported the .csv file id created, the blue teardrops showed up over each of the ground features i had selected in the new map (fire pits mostly).   I easily shifted each blue teardrop marker to the correct location on the base map... then pressed 'realign'.

everything appeared fine...     an hour or so late.. voila... new map, with elevation layer too...

but .. its still off..   even the blue teardrops appeared to have shifted.  nothing is lined up at all...

id like to get this corrected, and then correct all of my maps.. and then pull them into a location.

i could use some advice...

cheers

It doesn't look like any of these follow the data collection guidelines that are agreed to at the time of upload. This recommends at least 3 passes to get sufficient overlap. The majority of each Overlap Report shows 6-8 looks at everything. We recommend having at least 15 for things to turn out well.

The GCPs look like they aren't super accurate. Some are out in the water. It doesn't look there are many that are at any sort of obvious marker. After processing, the blue dots will be on the markers. Are you sure you didn't do the GCP process backwards?
