DEM Elevations

On the Map Detail page the Elevation Range is 1336.8 to 1441.2 ft which is correct, but when I download the DEM file the range is 417.504 to 432.077 ft. I checked to make sure that my units are set to feet in the profile settings. I'm using QGIS and AutoCAD Civil 3D to view the DEM. Is there a step I'm missing?

This was the answer from our reply to direct email:

"The DEMs are in meters regardless of your account settings. I think that math works out. Basically everything in our system is in meters and we just convert it to feet for the people that want it that way."

The profile setting doesn't change how things are generated and only changes how the numbers are displayed.

Thank you for the reply. I figured that was the case.

The only issue with that is the conversion from meters to feet is 1 meter to 3.28 feet. Which gives me, in the case of my map, 1369.41 to 1417.21 in feet (417.504 and 432.077 in meters). This doesn't match up with what is on the map detail page. I just wasn't sure how the elevations on the map details page were calculated vs. the actual min/max elevations of the DEM.
