I couldn't find a video with manual GCP's, but imagine that it would involve manually inputting the GPS coordinates of a known GCP, and then referencing them on your imagery. Is that correct? Second part of this question, if we do use manual GCP's, does it negate the necessity for the GPS information in the EXIF from the P3? Or do they still work hand in hand?
The manual GCPs are easy. You just type in your measured coordinates. When using any of the manual GCP methods, the data in the EXIF tags is not used. The EXIF data and the GCP data usually end up fighting each other.
