Battery swap during mission resumed at start point - Android

I was using the new Android version 1.0.5. with Mavic 2 pro and DJI smart controller.

Upon a battery swap during a mapping mission, the pilot pro app was having connectivity issues and crashed when trying to reconnect to the drone.

I was able to reopen the app, luckily it still knew that a mission was not complete and i was able to connect the drone and take off.

Instead of heading to the blue dot where the mission was left off, the drone flew to the start point of the mission, and just started the mission over from the beginning, and re-took all the images until the mission was complete. ( i started with a halfway depleted battery just to test the functions of a battery swap, so with a fully charged battery it was able to complete the mission).

Just posting this as a bug report as i know the Android app is still being worked on. Please let me know if there are any remedies that may work in the meantime.

Thank you for your report. When using the beta versions please make sure there are no new updates available before use. We are fixing things every day at this point. The latest version is 1.0.8.

Did you have all other drone apps fully closed at the time? The connection issue is likely the cause here.

I think we found the mission you are talking about in the system. We will give it a look. Thank you again for the report.

Hi,

I just installed the android version 1.0.8.

I tried to make a mission but I couldn't draw more than 3 dots. I tried to push the middle dot to add one more but it just moved the background map.

Is this a known bug or maybe it is my phone that doesn't work (Realme GT Master edition)?

George: This is a different topic than what the original post was about. Please start a new thread in that case.

Depending on what equipment you are using you might have to zoom way in to be able to select the midpoint markers. This is a known issue. We are supporting a couple of different basemap providers to ease installation issues. Each have their own issues.
