Mavic Mini 2

I will be using a DJI Mini 2 for a mapping project. On my test flight I encountered the following:

On two battery changes I received a message stating "Mavic Mini 2 not supported" - a hard reset restarted the mission at the correct abandonment point, but very annoying and a loss of time.

On two other battery changes I received a message stating something like "A different camera was used for the original plan. Update?". Again, a hard reset allowed me to continue. I checked and the correct aircraft was selected - I don't see an option to specify a camera.

The number of messages at start up are distracting - could there be an option to disable at least the "Terrain Awareness" pop-up?

Finally, at one point I accidently nudged a control stick, and was forced to RTH before I could continue - is there a procedure to restart from the last point without the RTH?

This sounds like connection issues in general The Mini 2 is certainly supported in the most recent version which it does look like you are using.

Using the sticks at any point during a Virtual Stick flight assumes you are trying to override the controls.

We will look at adding a message to disable the Terrain Awareness popup but the feature really is there to help people and we really want people to use it.

It looks like you are using an iPhone 6s which has an A9 processor. This might be part of the problem.

This sounds like connection issues in general The Mini 2 is certainly supported in the most recent version which it does look like you are using.

The issues occured only at battery swap - so more likely a software glitch I think, since the message specifically states "Mini 2 not supported". Also, the message about the "incorrect camera" is strange, since the correct aircraft was selected and I don't see a place to actually change the selected camera.

I will refly it using a newer device and see if that contributes to the problem.

My question is actually how do I return control back to the app without a RTH.

Once there is a connection issue all sorts of weird stuff can be reported. If you continue to have problems restart the Map Pilot Pro app between flights.

Based on your log files it looks like it might be related to your manually interrupting the flight and then pausing the mission and hitting RTH.

There is not a way to restart a programmed flight in the air once the initial flight is canceled out.
