Is there a way to see real time gps location during flight?

I would like to be able to monitor the GPS location while the drone is doing a mission. I'd like to be able to pause the mission with the current gps location visible at that moment. Is there a setting that will allow that?

No, there is not a way to do that. We don't really want to clutter the interface with numbers that aren't super useful to most users.
