One of my pilots cannot get his P4P V2 to launch. After connecting, selecting a saved mission, uploading the mission, answering prompts, confirming the flight path, and touching the plane to launch, the app icon appears with "loading..." below but never completes loading.

There are a lot of things that could be going on here. Please send a screenshot of what they are seeing so we can direct you better.
Make sure you can takeoff and fly using the DJI app and make sure there are no errors showing.
I don't see the planned flight in that screenshot. Please include a screenshot of what is showing before this occurs. And also verify that all errors have been cleared in the DJI app.
Have them start small and try to figure out what is going on. Do a small flight in the immediate area that can be done safely and in a controlled space. Make sure everything is working there. Design the flight fresh while you are at the site. Don't use saved missions or any special features. If that doesn't work, nothing is going to.
