0 is bad. That means the camera is level and therefore the gimbal angle is too high. It should be -90 to -50 as the error notes.
You can try using the Classic workflow which doesn't make this check.
I have made maps previously with my DJI Mini 2, but recently I can no longer upload images. The XMP data in these images do not include Gimbal values and this is now checked and blocked at upload. It tells me to remove 'horizon images' but I have none. When I view the XMP for my images I have all 0.00 for those values:
| GimbalRollDegree | +0.00 |
| GimbalYawDegree | +0.00 |
| GimbalPitchDegree | +0.00 |
How can I upload these images to generate a map?

Thanks - I was hoping to avoid the classic workflow since I can't downsample. I agree that a gimbal angle of 0 would be bad if it were real. The Mini 2 doesn't actually populate those fields in the EXIF data. The DJI workflow worked for me as recently as December but now includes this Gimbal check.
We make changes from time to time to prevent abuse and bad data from being uploaded.
