I have been using Mappilot for almost a year and it has worked very well.
In the last few months, it stops taking images during some flights.
The csv files are there but in the last few flights, there have been no .kml files for the flights flown.
The KML file gets generated when the app detects that the flight has ended and the aircraft has landed. If you are exiting your flights or the app outside of the control of Map Pilot's programmed flight you might not get the KML file.
You can upload your CSV files to our Log File Viewer and it will make a KML file for you.
You can also upload your CSV files to AirData and they will generate a KML for you as well.

Yes, Thank you. Since the second to last update (I now have version 4.1.2), the app is automatically shutting down just as it lands. I have used the app for over 45 flights and this just started - this automatic close of the app.
I think then this stops the kml from being produced or stored. I am not exiting the app. The app closes or shuts down on its own.
I've never used Log File Viewer, I do have Air Data but have never needed to use it as I have for almost a year now had no problems with the app and I got both the csv and the kml which I then emailed.
I will try the Log File Viewer to get the kmls but would like to fix this automatic shutdown as it is landing - It no longer gives me a chance to record the flight information (length of flight, number of images).

What version of iOS are you using?
This latest set of updates has been awful and broke a lot of stuff...
My iPad IOS is 13.2.3.
The MapPilot version is "4.1.2 build 11192093". This latest MapPilot upgrade was just completed a few hours ago.
But, the automatic shutdown issue started in my last two flight missions: November 8 and then again on November 23 2019
