How can the logged errors be seen

With the latest version I am seeing a message saying errors logged.

In which log can I see these errors?

When the app flashes "Errors Logged" in the area below the status bar that means that an entry has been written into the DJI Diagnostics column of the log file.

We added this in 4.0.2. The messages come straight from DJI's software and can be a little spammy. They come out fast sometimes.

We have found that it is very sensitive and sometimes things get shown once or twice and the issue is really just transient. However, if you are getting a lot of errors it is usually a sign of there being an issue. Sometimes these issues are situational and are related to interference or a bad calibration before takeoff. Others will indicate failed or failing onboard hardware. We are still working out which ones mean what.

We have correlated lots of errors to the aircraft kicking itself out of programmed flight mode during Map Pilot flights. This makes the aircraft stop and hover. It usually gets put into ATTI mode if there is a hardware failure which lets the aircraft drift with the wind... It is always important to keep an eye on the progress of your flight because if this happens you can lose an aircraft pretty quickly.

" DJI Diagnostics column of the log file"

Can you explain where this "log file" is located? (how to find)

Can you explain how one would view this log on a mac? (an app? online?)

thanks

The Log Files can be found in the 'Flight logs' section 'File Manager'.

You can email or AirDrop them out of the app and view them in Excel or Numbers to view the reported errors.
