Ongoing issues with map pilot

Hi - I've tried contacting you several times about my app crashing whilst using Terrain Awareness. This is ongoing and increasingly frustrating as I work remotely and ends up in wasted days due to the app crashing within 30 seconds of take-off. This happens now even on projects which I've flown before without issue. It shouldn't be an iPad issue as my Ipad is only 12 months old and has > 100 GB free space on it.

As I didn't receive any feedback from your support centre I tried upgrading to the "Business" map pilot app, hoping this may help. However it presented new problems - the drone stopped taking photos intermittently during transects (attached picture). As you can see from the photo, I'm only ~150 metres from the drone, so there are no connectivity issues.

We have in fact replied to all your emails within hours of their receipt. Please check your spam filter for the responses.

As requested in those responses we need the log files and to know a bit more about your setup in order to be able to help.

Updating to iOS 12 seems to be fixing a lot of crashing issues related to using devices with older batteries.

If the camera cannot keep up with the speed at which you are writing images it can cause what you are seeing. You likely need to turn down the SD card write speed in the Settings.

Also, please try without using the Image Footprint feature and let us know if you are already using iOS 12 or not.

What aircraft firmware version are you using?
