Add map to Google My Maps

You could create a map in ArcGIS or Mapbox and put the URL for it the 3rd Party Data Source in the Settings. 

If you are just looking for a different view because of clouds or age and you are using Android you could switch the basemap type in the settings between Google Maps and Mapbox. 

Were you able to do it, add your drone maps to Google Maps?

I thought it would be as easy as uploading the kmz file into Google Maps but apparently it is not...
