DJI Mini 2 - Low battery RTH cancel

Hi, I’m using map pilot pro for iOS with a dji mini 2. On missions, I get the low battery warning around 30%. It reads that RTH will kick in on 10 seconds and there’s a cancel and a OK button. Since I know it still has enough power to continue and make it home, I hit cancel but it still goes into RTH mode. Am I missing something? Is there a way to override the low battery RTH? The software is awesome but this is very frustrating. Thanks for your help. Mathieu

I don’t think that warning is coming from Map Pilot Pro… It sounds like you need to close all other drone related apps when using Map Pilot Pro.

In the interest of not having aircraft crashing all over the place we don’t provide any mechanism for overriding the aircraft’s RTH procedure. That would be unsafe. It is there for a reason.

The best thing you can do is make sure your battery is properly calibrated and the warning levels are set appropriately in the DJI app.

I’m pretty sure the warning comes from map pilot pro. Same look, same font… but will double check.
What is the estimation of battery power needed to come straight home based on? Is it calculated by map pilot pro?
I will try battery calibration hoping it helps because having the mission interrupted for low battery reason and landing with 25+ % is annoying.
It seems that dji fly app for mini 2 doesn’t allow for setting a minimum battery level for RTH.

There is a flight timer you can set in Map Pilot Pro. But that can be set to ‘Battery Limited’. The aircraft keeps track of how much power it needs to get home and land safely and triggers the RTH when that power level is reached.
