Seem to be having probs with the public link
The Link delivers in large overall view of the area and need to locate the actual map and location also when located the map has Elev overlay as a default
What can be done to rectify in settings

It sounds like you have made changes to the default zoom level values and enabled ‘Elevation Layer is Default’ in the map detail page. Set the zoom to 18 or so and disable the elevation layer setting.

You enabled the setting to show the elevation layer as the default. Disable that and it will go back to normal. The setting is called “Elevation Layer is Default”.
