Missed Camera Snapshots

Hello;

I am using P4Pro with iPad Mini 4 along with latest versions of Map Pilot, DJI GO 4 Apps and Firmwares (Drone and R. Ctrl).

The problem is that before and after making the aforementioned upgrades and while using the ConnectionLess Mode, I am still getting frequent Missed Snapshots during the first, second or last flight.
So what can I do in order to solve such issue ?
(Sometimes I m getting one, two or even three consecutive missed snapshots)

Test things with the connectionless mode running. If it drops images then it is the fault of the SD card not being able to keep up.

You can also try slowing down the camera imaging rate by changing the SD card write speed setting in the Map Pilot settings.

In Connectionless mode, the dots being missing does not necessarily mean that the image wasn't taken. Those dots are only drawn when the camera says 'hey, I took a picture' unlike the Active Connect mode when it is Map Pilot says 'I am taking a picture now'.

You would not be the first user to have a card that says it is the fastest thing in the world only to benchmark it and find out that it is a counterfeit. You won't be the last either. Always buy your SD cards from the most reputable source possible (not the gas station or convenience store).

i have the same problem, MY SD IS FROM THE NAME THAT COMES WITH THE PHANTON4

Hello Zane;

In fact, I am using the original SD card which came with the P4P (made by Panasonic), I formatted it and set the Speed Class Rating at 3 sec but unfortunately I am still missing many Snapshots in one mission (around 10 pictures out of 150).
Please note that I am talking about real missed pictures and note just the dots as you mentioned. Also I have already tried another SD card (Kingston) with the same configuration as described but got also the same result.

Any suggestion ?
