The last job I had issues with images that had correct and existing EXIF tags but when I tried uploading test file that info would not show up. I tried several different images from the mission and still no luck. When I took those images to geoimgr.com the gps coordinates were there but I went ahead and rewrote the tags. Even then it took several tries to bring them into MME before one image finally read ok.
Tonight I had the same issue of tags not showing up right away, so I switched browsers. It took a couple of tries but finally got one to read after letting it just sit there for 20 sec or so.
Any ideas whats going on?

Is this using the Classic workflow or the DJI workflow?
In general you shouldn't be modifying the tags at all.
Using classic workflow. I've tried the DJI workflow on other jobs and had uploading failures so I switched back to classic.
I even did a test with images I uploaded months ago that had no issues with tags but now do.
I even tried a different computer and different external drives with images on them. Same issue. The problem is there does not seem to be an consistent scenario that I can avoid, so made me wonder if MME has made some changes to processing protocol that is causing this issue.
I'll email a couple of sample files.
No changes have been made. You have to be careful with your image files on your computer. If you use a photo management software or even open them once in certain softwares the tags can be permanently destroyed.
