Problems with the simulator

Hello good afternoon. 
I am a beginner and I am trying to do a test flight with the simulator but the Drone is located far from my location and will not let me. 
Why can that happen? Thank you!

To simulate a flight at a location that is not where the aircraft is currently you need to save the flight and then open it from the Mission Manager. The aircraft's starting position should then be simulated from the purple home point marker.
