Why so slow?

I have updated to new beta. Just preparing to test Air2S. Even I max speed at 15m/s, path speed is calculated at 3m/s? Why so slow? Resolution is 2.5cm/px with 85/85 overlap. Haven't tested in flight yet.

This is not a limitation of flying the Air 2S. This is a limitation related to how fast the camera can take and readout and image combined with the overlap, camera focal length and flight altitude.

To speed things up you need to use less along track overlap, fly higher, or use a faster SD Card Write Speed setting.

Just comparing numbers with same parameters with different drones planning 65.5ha project

- GSD 2.5cm/px
- Overlap 85/80
- Flight time 20min
- SD card speed: 2sec/image

Phantom 4Pro: Speed 6.8m/s, 5 batteries
Mavic 2Pro: Speed 6.8m/s, 5 batteries
Air 2S: Speed 3.7m/s, 17 batteries

This is huge difference. Why is Air 2S so crippled comparing to P4P and M2P?

Thank you for the numbers. It looks like we had incorrect sensor dimensions which get used in calculating everything. These will be updated in the beta on Monday morning. We were planning on releasing the public version Monday morning but that will likely get pushed back in the week since we will have to resubmit.

Hm. That is the version that i have tested few days ago. 5.4.2. It was released on 26.03. I don't see any newer update with fix for Air2S on TestFlight.

Correct.It is no longer in beta. It has been released publicly as 5.4.2 build 040420221. Released April 4.
