Why is part of this map not processing correctly?

I am mapping this very treed area and have used an overlap of 90% to make sure it would work. I flew at 350' but the lower right portion of this map is not aligned with the rest. The overlap report shows just as many photos taken in this area as the rest. How can I fix this?

Thanks for your help.

It shows that you uploaded 267 images in the 'Job' section but the overlap report shows that only 183 were included in the outputs.

Trees are super hard to deal with. You did the right thing by using more overlap but if there is wind or anything changing the scene ever high overlap can't fix it.

The thing that affected this outcome the most was the height of the trees. They are huge! While you selected 90% overlap which corresponds to taking 10 shots of everything as you fly over on a single pass, if you flip through the images you see that the tree tops are only appearing in 6-7 of the images since they are so much closer up to the camera.

This is why we have the Ground Offset feature in Map Pilot Pro which raises the plane for which the overlap planning is calculated up to the top of what you are looking at. This would make it so the height of trees would be taken into account and they would get the 10x coverage instead of the 6-7x coverage, which clearly wasn't enough.

Also, I'm wondering why when I uploaded 267 images but the overlap report shows 183 images??

The heavily treed area rendered fine though. It was the open area and road that didn’t. There was a little wind. Could that have been enough to mess it up? Thanks for your reply.

Is it possible to get a credit for the points used as I will have to redo this job, or does this fall under my mistake?

Sorry for the delay. It looks like the trees on that western portion are taller so they got even less overlap. We have granted a one-time 50% point refund for overlap related issues.
