Linear Mission Overlap

I need high frontal overlap for my linear mission for good results. I also need to fly at a lower altitude than typical. 

I set my frontal overlap rate ok but when I lower the mission altitude, it automatically lowers the frontal overlap slider.

Is there a way around this?

If your altitude gets really low and the overlap is high the speed you can fly will be limited by the camera's ability to collect images (which is limited to 1 image per 2 seconds) and the aircraft's ability to fly slowly (limited to 2 m/s). It is adjusting it for you because you have reached that limit and you have to pick which is more important to you: altitude or overlap. You should prioritize overlap.
