on the elevation maps, are we able to mark specific locations (GPS coordinates) and see the actual elevation for that point? And also be able to share this with another users that you share the map with?
And if so, how do we mark and see these elevations?

We have been thinking about adding this for a while. Currently there is no way to get single point elevation values without using the DEM file in GIS software. Now that our peak summer season is over we will be pushing out some new features and hopefully this will make the list.

Hello. I am also looking for a way to get elevation information without going through GIS. Has this feature been added since this discussion was posted? A tool to calculate slope would also be very useful. Thx!
When will this feature and the text annotations be added?
As of about a month ago elevation values for all points inside the processed map boundary are now displayed in the top right corner as you move your mouse/finger around.
