You may want to try unplugging the iOS device and then plugging it back in to force a reconnection when this happens.
Hi there,
When flying a multi-battery mission, we would usually (maybe 95% of the time) have to restart Map Pilot after reinserting a new battery for the app to connect to the drone.
Here's our workflow:
1) On programmed setting, drone returns to home when battery gets low (around 20%)
2) Drone lands, we turn off drone, switch out a new battery, and turn drone back on
3) We wait for drone to connect to remote control (i.e. wait to see the airplane button pop up in top right corner of Map Pilot)
4) Drone doesn't connect, so we close out of and reopen Map Pilot
5) Drone connects to Map Pilot (yay) and we continue on with the mission
Our problem sounded similar to this post: https://support.dronesmadeeasy.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/204318736-Clarification-on-Multiple-Battery-Missions
However, Map Pilot is the only app we have open - we don't open the DJI Go app each time we change a battery.
Any ideas? Thanks.
