What is the exact text of the error code? Have you tested the password on the MME site to make sure it works there? I see that you last were able to access things with the app about 3 minutes ago so maybe you got it figured out.
The 'e' variant is only to be used with the Mini 3 series and Enterprise aircraft. For the Air 2 and Mini 2 you would need to use the 'b' variant.
