Point Estimator Parameter Options vs Map Pilot App Options

I'm new to your applications so we may be missing something. We're not new to drone surveying in our business and understand the basic principals of photogrammetry.

When we look at the Flight Planner web tool it allows the user to set parameters like forward and pass overlap, drone speed and AGL. When we create a flight plan with the Map Pilot app we can only adjust a slider which then automatically sets the overlaps, speed and AGL?

What's the connection between these two tools? Your videos seem to infer that it's important to plan flights before shifting to the Map Pilot App. If we plan a flight in the Flight Planner with it range of variables we cannot set or choose those same settings in the Map Pilot App?? We must be missing something or why would we us the Flight Planner to plan a flight that we cannot then perform or mimic in the Map Pilot App?? We must be missing something??

Another question. In one of your videos the presenter states that the direction of the drone is fixed to match the direction of the passes. Since NiDar is the only survey option we assume that the only factor we are considering here is image orientation which is important to overlap. There is an opportunity in the Flight Planning tool to set Pass heading (deg). How does this work in the Map Pilot App?

Thank you

@Robert
Speed and overlap is set before you pick your mission area in the settings on the opening screen.
