Has there been an opportunity to test Map Pilot on iOS 11? Should we wait to upgrade the mobile operating system for a bit?

We have not tested it yet but will be doing so in the next couple of days. We have had very few issues with iOS updates so it should be fine. Any issues we have are generally related to file writing or formatting of internal strings. The main functionality of the app is almost certain to work.

I have been on iOS betas for awhile now and have had no issues. I have also updated Map Pilot to 2.6.2 during the beta period.
Kurt: Thanks for the feedback. It is looking OK with our testing too. We plan on upping the official compatibility early next week after more testing.
I have had problems with the video signal in the mme, the screen freezes. I had never happened on a flight 500 meters away and 300 meters high. I've flown much farther than that without problems before.
the radial signal has also failed, transmitting with interference.
I also dyed with DJI go4.
I do not recommend updating the iOs11 yet.
Campodigital: Thanks for the report. It is interesting to hear that you had issues in DJI Go as well as Map Pilot.
What is likely going on here is that iOS11 takes up more CPU in the background that iOS10 did. This is Apple's not so subtle way of getting you to buy more stuff!
Make you are updated to 2.7.0 and make sure the setting to clean up the image dots is on. That will help keep the CPU use to a minimum.
Please keep us updated and let us know what iOS device you are on for comparison's sake.
I haven't had any loss of signal issues with iOS11, but it does seem to take up a lot of iPad battery.
Are you planning on releasing 2.7.0 for the Map Pilot Business version? Right now it seems I can only upgrade as far as the 2.6.? version.
Michael Koontz: We will be releasing 2.7.1 in a couple of days and Map Pilot Business will also be released at that time. Map Pilot Business gets a slightly delayed release on major releases to ensure continuity for business users.
