The aircraft will connect first and then wait for a GPS fix. The red triangle does not show until there is a GPS fix. Make sure you have a clear view of the sky so the fix can be achieved quickly. We have heard it can take much longer for this to happen in far northern or southern latitudes.

But my question was WHEN it does turn red were on the app do you press to resume the mission ?

Also i have been reading that you have to open the dji fly app connect and then close it is this true?

i more incline to know were on the app do you press to restart the mission?  AND is it possible to restart the mission hours later while batteries charge ? can you close the app will it remember were you left off hours later or next day?

When the red triangle shows again the flight controls will show up again in the upper right corner. That is where you would start the next flight in the mission.

We always recommend using the DJI app for a quick checkout flight when you get to a new site. You then MUST CLOSE any other drone related apps when operating Map Pilot Pro. Leaving other apps running in the background is a great way to lose your aircraft.

Any partial progress you make of a mission is saved until you either finish the mission or clear it. This can be an hour or a day later. For data processing this is not idea since the lighting would all be different and the features would not match very well. Breaking a mission up over a long period of time is a recipe for image processing issues.

thank you very much so after each battery change do you have to upload the mission again i think i did this and screen said there is a mission running ?  do you upload the mission one time here below its says this

After the aircraft lands, power it down normally, swap the battery and power it back up
normally. As soon as the camera preview window has live video in it again, the aircraft is ready
to manually takeoff and upload the remainder of the flight.

so i guess you have to uipload mission again? each battery change ?

A maximum of 100 waypoints are ever loaded to the aircraft at any given time. So with every flight it is loading the next 100 waypoints. If your mission is 80 waypoints and your first battery flies 40 of them the next 40 will be loaded for battery two.
