my drone hovers in the air and won't start mapping

I am starting new with DJI Mini 2 with Map Pilot Pro.

I tried missions at different areas thinking there could be something wrong with the area (too many trees, strong wind etc?)

But evertime/area I set mission and press upload/start, the drone flew up and just never seemed to be able to start the mission; just hovering high up above the homepoint and doing nothing(?).

All my trials seemed to be caused by these two particular aircraft errors that showed up at the diagnostics:

1) dji_check_camera_encrypt_error_reason
2) fpv_tips_propeller_fc_on_limit

I tried to find online what they meant, but couldn't find any solution.

Please help, I need to solve this issue to kickstart my new project.

Interesting. Thank you for the follow up.

The issue might be that some of the motions that get commanded with the virtual stick controls are not as subtle or graceful as they are with waypoint flight. The increased weight of the guards combined with some of these large motions might have been getting a value over a limit that kicked it out of virtual stick controls mode.

That is a bit weird. I can see these errors in your log files.

Sadly, we don't know what most of the errors that show in that panel actually mean. Some are self explanatory but others are unknown.

The encrypt error seems to be something that we see a decent amount of and doesn't seem to affect flight. Basically a one-time data transmission error.

The fpv_tips_propeller thing is new though and could be the reason.

I am seeing a lot of  dji_check_fc_strong_gale_reason in there too. That is never good and should be avoided.

Have you tried completely still conditions?

I've finally found the solution!

I always had the DJI drone guard on when I flew mine as I'm still newbie but as I got the same warnings mentioned above even in still condition, I got frustrated and as a last resort I took the guard off... And it worked like a magic! It flew and completed the mission with no hesitation whatsoever.

I guess little weight difference by the plastic guard was the problem all along.
