Flight Course Mode - Cutting Corners

I have made a large mission plan for mapping an estuary that contains some concave corners. The mission plan indicates that the UAV will fly outside the boundary of the mission plan in a couple of areas as it traverses between flight lines. Is there an option to force the UAV to fly within the mission plan area rather than have it cut the concave corners as this will cause issues for me by having the UAV flying over private land.

An example of what I am looking for is when making a mission plan using DJI Ground Station Pro there is a "Flight Course Mode" option. The two flight course options are "Scan Mode", this is similar to Map Pilot Pro where the UAV will fly the most efficient course by cutting concave corners and "Inside Mode", where the UAV wont fly outside the mission plan area while mapping, instead flying around the boundary of the mission plan while traversing to the next flight line.

If it is a large mission plan then it would likely be better broken up into smaller parts that can be flown with minimal non-imaging flight.

We have seen the crazy stuff some other apps do and it makes it so adjacent images get collected at wildly different times which causes matching issues. It is best to collect the image as orderly as possible such that any adjacent image is collected with as little time between it and its neighbors as possible. We care more about your data turning out well than staying within a defined boundary.

In the US, technically you do not need permission to fly over private property as it is FAA regulated airspace.

Non-imaging flights are taken care of by using the movable home point option and moving throughout the survey area while mapping. Along with strategic battery changes I have virtually zero non-imaging flight time.

How would having one mission broken into several separate mission plans as you suggested not result in adjacent images collected at wildly different times? I want to collect the images as orderly as possible so it makes sense to have a single mission plan rather than finishing one, returning to land before uploading the next one. The only way I can map the area without cutting corners using MPP would be to fly some small sections at a different bearing to the bulk of the mission plan. That doesn't seems very orderly at all and a great way to have your data turn out sub par.

It sounds like the real reason the developers of MPP don't think this is an issue is because in America you can fly over private land without permission. In New Zealand you can not fly over private land without the permission of the land owner or occupier first so it becomes a lot more pertinent to my situation.

It is hard to tell what you are describing without screenshots. Please share a few of what you are talking about if you would like some recommendations.
